things dont stay the same

• if youve got enough years on you in life i think you would have to agree with that statement
• and i think its all around us in our life but with me it just hits me from time to time with certain situations
• well when i was still a youngster (5-10 years) is when the transformers first came out. Those are some of the first items i actually saved my money to buy at the store and i played with them a whole lot growing up and somehow kept them in decent shape and kept them over the years.
• well our son is all into typical 5 year old stuff that includes of course the transformers, it seems "they" are tyring to bring the transformers back into production again and attempting to rev it up again with them
• so his birthday has just happened and he got a transformers dvd from someone and i was watching it with him the other nite and i realized this is nothing like what the transformers were like when i was his age.
• the main good guy now has this large ax that he uses as his main weapon and it has all sorts of powers to it - in my day (now that really makes me old saying that doesnt it???) he could just shoot a laser beam or something and punch and kick and throw things - of course he always won and still does - but whats up with the mega ax???
• just a few thoughts right there....i think most of you would agree with me
