north vs. south and other

most everyone here in the states knows about the old civil war and northern states versus southern states....and most of us southerners know about the typical thoughts that northerners are rude and generally abrasive.....well we all know that there are always exceptions to the rules but the bottom line is i had to call new york university this morning seeking a couple of course descriptions over the phone and to say that the lady i was speaking with was rude and abrasive would be putting it mildly....i should have asked to speak to her supervisor to lodge a complaint against here.....instead i sent an email message to them about the total lack of customer service.....i sorta got a kick outta the whole thing though....go figure....the other is a much more local thing where we live but our church starts this sunday as one church two locations....we are starting services at another location and will have video services essentially....well i am told that another local church on their sign says just that "one church...one location" - i think we might have a little brawl brewing up....should be fun
