random items....

• it is near a quarter till 20.00 on Tuesday the 14th of April 2009
• some things are changing at work lately....I expect some growing pains with the changes but overall in the big picture I think they will benefit the entire office and help us work bette as a team
• Juli is pretty much past her strep throat....I think...although she did not get her medicine tonite...I dont think.....oops.....
• Forgot to get the Braves tickets for tommorow.....might have to get them tommorow possibly....anyone interested....
• Reckon thats enough for now...Im pretty tired....LATER

Im NOT dead.....yet

I know my plethora of readers have been concerned about my health and well being....well I am healthy and my well being is over flowing....that explains why I havent posted in such a long time....so here we go....

• you have likely heard the rumors about me getting a tattoo....well it is true....when 21.30 gets here later today it will be the first week of the ink on my arm....
• I've received countless compliments on it already - everyone seems very impressed with the quality of the tattoo and also very impressed with some of the color in it....Im happy with it....I already want another one....it will have to wait though
• whole family is doing good right now....our son is slightly sick right now with some type of sinus problem - a prescription of liquid z-pac is going to fix that up though.
• well my lunch break is over here....so I gotta get back to the diamond mines....OUT

random updates

• things seem fairly off the hook right now at work - some of that is good and some of that is potentially not so good....developing story lines I suppose
• GREAT weekend now past - everything from great times with the family to scrubbing toilet rims in the driveway (while near freezing rain falling down) to SNOW STORM 2009
• got a little something something brewing that I'm kinda excited about - more details to follow as it develops
• am beginning to realize that the dust never settles down here at the office - so its a matter of knowing where things are I suppose so I can just as easily manage in the dust storms that happen here
• I really thought I would have alot more than those things to post for random updates
• lists really do help me most of the time

• Im glad its Friday - finally
• I hope the weather improves by this afternoon and stays good for the weekend
• I sure wish my wife would get past this bothersome cough that she has had since Christmas
• Im glad for such a thing as coffee in the morning
• Im really digging my project playlist

• Im wondering how long will I remain caught up with my work here at the office???

• Im thinking does anybody read my blog????
• Im thinking that this paperless process is good but we need more teamwork on it and folks more willing to listen to others ideas about the process

MANIC MONDAY

• Im not sure if MANIC is the right word or not - if it means crazy, intense, whole nutha levels then it is the right word
• I spent my entire morning figuring out how to do "the new process" for our work here without ANY written instructions on the process - does this make sense???
• I spent the rest of my day after lunch transferring files from one program to another-I sure hope I did them right or there will be BIG problems down the road

Wacky Wednesday

OK maybe thats not the best title but its the best I could think of right now - so here goes

• why did my arm not want to stop bleeding after the blood drive today? I sure hope it doesnt start bleeding again.
• I wonder how many diplomas we will have to re-issue due to the fact that the brilliant mail folk will bend them to fit them into mailboxes - allthough the thick envelope has numerous "DO NOT BEND" stamps on it. Really ticks me off sometimes.
• I really think that some of the people that work around here must only have a job description that says "try to keep your seat warm all day and convert oxygen to carbon dioxide. And they are paid for this....dont get me started please
• I still got a laugh out of seeing the person pass out at the blood drive today - fear not they know how to take care of those situations and the person is doing fine now. Probably their last time giving blood though.

• Im pumped that I get off work at noon today - YES
• Im glad its not raining today
• Im jack pumped that the kiddos are staying w/ the grandparents tonite
• I hope Pete will be able to meet us tonite so we can celebrate his birthday - happy birthday Pete
• Im digging my ipod right now
• seems kinda silly to me that Im gonna get my tires rotated today and again in 2000 miles or so at the next oil change - but oh well - I suppose its the right thing to do really
• Im happy that the sickness seems to finally be leaving my household - thats a VERY good thing indeed
• looking forward to the weekend activities - family and friends - all good things

its been awhile I know

well I've been pretty busy lately okay folks?

Lets see here: alot of changes at the office lately - new ways of doing things that we have always done around here that is to say that we are taking a big step to "go paperless" The only reason I'm gonna support that one is due to the big time budget crunch that we are all in right now with the economy and whatnot - and paper of course costs money money money - so anyway - our church is going to start 3 morning services next month - and that I am on the setup crew that means that I'm gonna need to be there by 5:30 on Sunday mornings - instead of 6 o'clock plus or minus...as long as I am still out of bed at 5 in the morning I feel confident that I can be there by 5:30 b/c my clothes are layed out the nite before and I put them on and brush my teeth and pull a comb through my hair and I'm ready to roll...sounds easy enough doesnt it - should be fun though. I got texting activated on my phone recently and you know what? It actually is kinda fun to text on your cellphone, especially if you are bored at a meeting or whatever...half of my family is under the weather right now - that would be the middle two of my family...neither the oldest or the youngest but the middle two - they are both on prescription medications right now and I feel they are getting better I hope they are at least. All in all things are good right now and I have been kicking the days so hard lately that they are left bleeding on the curbside...
